What running an agriculture shop is actually like
The problem
Many small suppliers
Produce and inputs come from numerous suppliers, each with their own prices and terms.
How Billaxy helps
Supplier records with credit terms, a purchase register and supplier payments tracked separately from customer accounts.
The problem
Mixed units
Seeds by the kilo, fertiliser by the bag, pesticide by the litre, all needing to be billed correctly.
How Billaxy helps
Each invoice line records its own unit, so kilos, bags and litres bill correctly on the same invoice.
The problem
Seasonal demand
Stock and cash needs swing hard with the planting season.
How Billaxy helps
Stock valuation and purchase reports that show the position at any point in the season.
The problem
Credit both ways
Farmers buy on credit and suppliers extend credit to the shop, and the two must never be confused.
How Billaxy helps
Customer credit and supplier payments kept as separate ledgers, never mixed.
These answers use the shared Billaxy core, which is built. Billaxy for agriculture shops is planned: the agriculture shop-specific features are not built, and sign-up does not offer this trade yet.

Questions
Asked by agriculture shop owners.
Can an agriculture shop use Billaxy today?
Not yet - Billaxy for agriculture shops is planned, and sign-up does not offer this trade yet. Weight-based presets and producer-supplier workflows specific to agri shops are planned; supplier records, purchase registers and customer credit are already built in the shared core. Contact us and we will tell you when it is ready.
Can I bill seeds by the kilo and fertiliser by the bag on one invoice?
Yes - each invoice line records its own unit.
Can I keep farmer credit and supplier credit separate?
Yes - customer credit and supplier payments are kept as separate ledgers, never mixed.
Can I see my stock position at any point in the season?
Yes - stock valuation and purchase reports, any time.
Can I bill GST and non-GST?
Yes. GST is set per line, so taxed items and 0% (non-GST) items can sit on one invoice. Every invoice prints as a Tax Invoice; a separate Bill of Supply format is not built yet.
